Neff have fitted a pathetically weak plastic peg on which the spring of the door latches pull. To mend this, first you must remove the inner plastic frame inside the door by pushing a thin blade inwards from around the outer edge to pull this outer frame away to release the inner frame from the short pegs protruding inwards in two place on each side. The spring was intact but its peg had snapped off. So - I have attached the bottom of the spring to a safety pin and then passed the pin over one of the METAL lugs nearby. Then fit the spring to the latch thing and slot it back where it lives. Push back the inner frame. Job done!
