Our team redesigned the common modern microwave oven interface. Our goal was to increase the learnability and efficiency of the interface by taking our prototype of a microwave interface through several redesigns in light of usability testing findings. This redesign process has facilitated the creation of a new microwave oven prototype that is hopefully superior to alternatives currently on the market. However, we do feel that further redesign and usability testing of our current prototype would continue to improve our interface.
